MAJORS / MINOR AA
2026 Player Information Form
Welcome to Majors and AA! These two divisions are competitive; below is important information for all parents and players new to these divisions:
*All players ages 9-12 (who have played in Minor A) MUST attend a tryout session per Little League International regulations. Failure to do so will effect eligibility for the season*
These divisions have a draft, so your child may end up in a different division than you signed up for. For example, if you signed your child up for AA for a 2nd season, they could be drafted to a Majors team based upon their tryout.
All new and returning players must attend the draft. If you were in Majors last year there is no guarantee you will be returning to the team you played for last year.
All players not drafted to a Majors team will be eligible to be drafted to AA. If not drafted to AA, players will be randomly assigned to a Minor A team.
Players WILL NOT be placed in a division lower than they played the previous year.
Please Note: In Majors, we play three games per week. AA games are played twice per week.
We attempt to play an end of season tournament at the end of May, but if weather results in too many games being cancelled/made-up during the season, then this tournament could be cancelled.
All Stars: Begins at the end of the season until beginning of July. More information will be available in the spring.
IMPORTANT DATES:
Early February: Managers and Coaches voted on by the board
Tryouts: Players have the option to select a tryout session that fits their schedule. All players must attend one session. If they do not attend try-outs (with the exception illnesses verified by a doctor’s excuse) they will be placed on a team via blind drawing.
Tryouts will take place Feb 28 and March 1, 2026. Location will be announced right before the tryout (weather dependent).
Players Contacted: After the draft in early March.
Practices start in early March (weather permitting).
